Lake Louisa State Park, Central FL

Camping in Florida’s beautiful hill country! Scenic lakes, spanish moss covered cypress trees and rolling hills will make your stay at Lake Louisa State Park unforgettable!

A nice variety of perfectly marked trails to choose from that will lead you through pine flatwoods, oak hammocks and sandhills to the top of the hills where you’ll find lookouts over Lake Louisa’s amazing lakes.

The equestrian campground is very spacious and each site is equipped with two adjacent paddocks, a picnic bench and a fire ring. If you can choose your site, we recommend the ones on the left side coming in. The ones on the right are located directly next to a dirt road that runs on the outside of the park and can have quite some amount of traffic.

The park also offers great opportunities for hiking, biking or canoeing. There is a camper canteen where you can rent equipment and buy some supplies and snacks, too. A swimming area and a beach is also located in the park.

All in all Lake Louisa State Park is a wonderful place to stay with your four-legged friends and you’ll enjoy the peacefulness and beautiful trails with lots of wildlife and wildflowers to see!
