Close to I-75 lays this hidden gem with quiet secluded campsites and a nice bathhouse. The four equestrian campsites are in direct view of the comfortable stalls. There is water including hoses, wheelbarrows and a mounting block. The trails are beautiful and grassy with a diverse landscape, from flat woods surrounding a scenic lake down to the river valley itself. We have been here numerous times since it is close to home and yet feels far away from everything.
The campsites are amazing, very spacious even and have full hookups, fire-rings and picnic tables. The park itself is super clean, offers nice hot showers and even a laundromat and book exchange shelf!
There is also a huge day use area, with space for dozens of trailers.
